Director Thor Jensen (1863 - 1947)
Immediately after Thor Jensen's death Sigurjón Ólafsson was asked to create a monument to him in Reykjavík. Sadly this project was never realized, due to the discontent of local arbiters of taste who were unhappy with the surface handling of this proposal, not least because Jensen's trousers appeared not to be ironed.
